Bus journey is a cheaper way but it is spent on narrow, bumpy roads which are crowded with traffic. Trips by ship may be the cheapest and most comfortable way but it takes too much time.
I like traveling by bike. I can set out when I like and stop when I like. I can go wherever I like so that I can enjoy delightful spots rarely visited by other travelers. When I feel tired, I sit down by the bike and have a good rest. Besides, I can save much money for tickets and much time in waiting for the train or bus. I can cover more places by riding a bike than going on foot.
Traveling by bike is good to health. It is really a sort of good exercise to strengthen one's muscles and to test one's will. Moreover, it brings no pollution to the air. So it helps to clean the atmosphere.

陌生而厌烦
我们相识于小学三年级。第一节课老师教读课文中主人公的名字，我居然一个也没记住，要知道这要是中文名字，别说这不到十个人名了，就是几十个，我一节课也就全记住了。班里很多同学都记住了，而且能读的非常准确，而我呢？还在纠结着第一个人名，可以说是看见这些类似于拼音的符号，我真是两眼一摸黑呀！天啊，是我对英语没感觉吗？从此，我有些怕英语了，别说主动去读、去记了，课下根本就没听读过英语单词。
迫不得已相处
英语作为主科，那可是和语文、数学一样，都是100分的呀，即使不喜欢，即使看它不顺眼，我也得硬着头皮学呀！可能因为不是积极主动的去学习，所以，我的读音总是不太准，记起单词来更是一大难题。英语也是一门语言，它也是要先会读、会说，才能更好记忆。但是因为我总读不准，就更不想去读，这样一来，单词完全靠死记硬背。我的单词听写总刚开始几乎是“全军覆没”，后来情况稍好，但是出错率依然很高。考试，班里好多同学都能考满分了，我当时真是羡慕不已。
相爱相杀
四年级上学期开始，妈妈报补习班了，偶尔，我的`单词听写还能全对一次，英语成绩提升了，老师也开始表扬我了，这时，我再看“英语”，嗯，不错嘛，挺可爱的呀！也不是那么难以相处呀！

自从上了补习班后，英语有巨大的进步，我还盼望英语补习班的上课时间快点到。这样，我就能学习更多的英语，能更熟练的掌握英语了，说不定等到考试，我也能得100分了呢。
我很感谢英语，是它让我了解了其他国家不同的风土民俗，让我的眼界更宽，看得更远。我想，我会和英语携手一生，让它成为我生活的一部分。
