最近爸爸在开始学习英语，我很佩服他坚持学习新事物与不断挑战自己的心态，这也影响我坚定自己终身学习的决心。万事开头难，爸爸在学习新语言的时候非常吃力困惑，有时候完全抓狂找不到进步的方向。他跑过来问我，有什么好方法能够持续性地提高英语能力。我当时有点好为人师的兴奋，毕竟从小到大爸爸是亦师亦友，尤其是他在古汉语学习方面给了我很大的帮助，他是个彻头彻尾的历史迷。可这一回学习外语爸爸碰到了瓶颈，于是我也当了一回小老师。
我说，学习语言最重要的是兴趣与目的。爸爸点头，他是为了更好地了解自己生活的这个世界，想知道其他地方的人俗与历史文化，才开始学习英语的`漫长旅程。而毕竟最好的途径就是学习语言，世界上通用语言范围最广的就是英语了。我夸了下爸爸然后给他总结我作为英语爱好者的简单的小经验了：写作、听力、口语、单词。
第一，怎么提高英语写作呢？每天写点英文随笔或英语日记。
第二，碎片化时间或睡前听英语广播或其他形式的听力。
第三，每天背诵短文、找个练习口语拍档。
第四，每天背诵短文，在短文中记住单词。
