From the freeway you will see the beautiful looking buildings set high on the on the green mountain in the suburb of Taipei. The Chinese-style architecture of the Grand Hotel is very colorful; it has been ranked as one of the world’s top ten. The lobby is very large, and the roof has hand- carved wooden panels; the supporting columns are colorfully painted.
The most impressive item in the lobby is the large, beautiful, all-marble staircase that comes down from the second floor on two sides of the lobby; a huge bronze wall painting separates the two staircases. Standing in the lobby you feel as if you have walked into a king’s palace because of so many beautiful things around you.

The class began. Thinking that we had to part from him soon, we felt sorry.Mr. Cui was sad, too. After he explained the grammar to us, he began to teach us to sing an English song: Yesterday Once More. It was a beautiful song and we learned it by heart quickly. When singing, some girls burst into tears.
There were only ten minutes left. He asked us if we had any questions. At this moment Ma Yuanyuan, our monitor, stood up. She walked to the front and presented ① our gifts to Mr. Cui ----a small painting and a card with our signatures ②. He thanked us and said that wherever he was, he would not forget us. Finally we said together loudly,“Dear teacher, good-bye and good luck!”

Li Ming and I took part in a wilderness survival program yesterday, and it has been one of the most unforgettable experiences since high school.
The two of us were to reach the campsite by the evening. We set out early in the morning, eager to face the adventure. I was carring a camp and a compass in my bag, while Li Ming loaded his with some bread, matches, candles, a map, a knife, afirst-aid kit, a flashlight, and some clothes. We followed the marked route until we reached a brook.. We had to swim across it, floating our supplies on a piece of wood in order to keep them dry. What’s worse, we lost sight of the signs on the other side of the brook! Thanks to the campass, we finally arrived at the campsite on time, and managed to make the camp and afire.
The two of us spent the night in the forest.
We learned to use knowledge gained in clASSroom training to solve problems. It was quite an experience for us both, which I’ll never forget for the rest of my life.

People used to visit friends and relatives to stay at home watching TV or surfing the Internet so there seems to be a lot of barriers between people.
Customs are being simplified, and human conditions are becoming less and less. The reason is that while pursuing a higher material life, we forget the "traditional culture" of giving birth to us, and the worrying thing is that the trend is still rising in both rural and urban areas. Is it possible that in the future people will only be able to trace the "nian" in their memory?

The second one is the doctor. There are many teenagers think that doctors are very great. Yes, that’s right.
