　　As we all know, there are more and more laid-off workers in China now mainlybecause of the rapid changes in the economic reform. Among them are the old and theyoung, men and women, and even some well-educated graduates. Whats more, with more and moreworkers being laid-off, lots of social problems have appeared.

　　As a result, the issue of re-employment of the laid-off workers has becomeone of the hot topics and drawn much attention from governments at all levels. A number ofsolutions are being offered. First of all, re-training programs should be organized to helpthe laid-off workers to learn new skills to help them keep up with the changing society. Besides,our government should take some necessary measures to createmore new opportunities of employment for these , colleges and

　　ch the goal, they find themselves unhappy. A great ancient Chinese thinkersaid, “Never be fettered by too much money nor be chopped by poverty. ” So I personally think awell-off life is an ideal one. A comfortable life is the most important.
