四年级时我们班来了一位姓严的男英语老师，我至今对他还记忆犹新。
他身材魁梧，高大强壮，坐在椅子上稳如泰山，好似铁塔一般，乍一看像个教武术的。很有气场。他四方国字脸，大眼睛炯炯有神，戴一副眼镜，犀利的眼神似乎能穿透所有障碍发现你做的小动作，之后悄没声走过来，大喝一声把你吓瘫，接下来，等你的只有罚站。
他办事雷厉风行，最恨说谎的人，今天有一个同学上午说作业没带，下午又说没带。严老师当着全班同学的面让她抄了一遍，做了一遍。原因就是严老师看透她在说谎，即使她说的是真话，两次没带也是犯了他的忌讳呀！由此得出一个结论，别在他的面前耍小聪明，否则你就得“哪儿凉快，哪儿歇着”！
严老师在一些“大炮”面前就是一盆十足的凉水。有一次他拿了许多毛绒玩具来上课，所以气氛很活跃。有一位“嘴巴漏风”的“周大炮”在许多不该讲话的时候插嘴，严老师瞪他三四秒都没反应，所以严老师被逼着使出绝招：狮吼功！“周雨晨，谁让你讲话的？给我站到后面去!”事后，语文老师说严老师像我们学的lion、tiger，一发火整个教室都在震。这也说明严老师不是好惹的！你看看他的.姓就知道了。所以我奉告所有不认真学习的人——严老师就是你的末日！
但是他对表现好的学生又是另一个样子，上课经常带我们做游戏是一个十足的大男孩！
虽然严老师很凶，我们也很怕他，但也很喜欢他。
