Is Good Appearance More Important than Capability?
Old people often tell the young, “Don’t judge a person by his appearance”, meaning capability is more important than appearance. However, nowadays, with more interviewers putting emphasis on looks and the appearance of the applicants, a lot of people come to the conclusion that appearance is more important than capability.
As for me, I can’t agree with this argument. Good appearance is pleasant, but capability is more important, because it demonstrates one’s self-cultivation and practical values. It shows the efforts and the glory of acquiring something through one’s hard work whereas good looks bespeak no struggle of the individual. Besides, maybe sometimes a beautiful face can help a girl acquire a good position, but in the long run it is her talent not her look that really works in her career development.
Therefore, those without good appearance needn’t feel depressed because one’s success depends on his capability; those with good appearance have to work hard since good appearance cannot bring a person final success.

More and more college students, in recent years, are finding it difficult to find jobs. This may sound strange since college students used to be the "most favored" people in society. They have received a higher education, hence they are more intelligent, knowledgeable than their counterparts who failed to attend college. But chances are that some of them can hardly find jobs after graduating from colleges. There are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon. One is that some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them.
They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. Another reason is that the majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market. As a result, they canonly sit and miss opportunities. To solve this problem, I think college students should know their own strengths and weaknesses and have the right attitude towards themselves and the job vacancies. In addition, they should not attach too much importance to material aspects of the job. They should put priority to their future development and their contributions to society in stead. Furthermore, they should think of receiving some further training to meet the demands of society.

As more and more companies tend to post vacant position online rather than go to the job fair, most people also prefer to find jobs through Internet. Some people think that it is very convenient for them to find jobs because they can check the basic information of a certain company any time they want. Some argue that it is not so good for them to find jobs online because there are also some people will take advantage of them by getting job seekers’ information. In my opinion, I’m convinced that the disadvantages weigh too much than the advantages. Reasons are as follows.
First and foremost, some people will take advantages by stealing your personal information. With the high development of Internet, some kinds of cyber crime emerge. Those offenders often steal victim’s information through Internet and then commit a crime.
Secondly, you maybe cheated by the fake informationon the Internet. It happens quite often that some job seekers receive some calls to invite them to have an interview. But when they get to the appointed place, they find that it is not the same company as posted online.
In conclusion, through the analysis above, I don’t think it is wise for us to find jobs online not only because your personal information will be stolen, but you will be cheated.

For another, the tendency of being lazy must be eradicated from the mind of the young.
