　　代沟是两代人不同的消费观念，生活观念，认知观念等。妈妈和姥姥之间代沟的矛盾体现在购物的价格和方式上。

　　妈妈是个购物狂。大到冰箱彩电，小到针头线脑。可以说，足不出户就可以买到家里。方便了使用，而且妈妈总念叨：“网络时代，就是个飞速发展的时代，网络可以让我们足不出户，就可以走遍世界，了解个体的.特产，方便我们购物。”

　　所以，家里的财政支出一概是妈妈说了算。妈妈的购物爱好，也有交学费的时候，只是她不说。快递叔叔可乐坏了，不管是申通，圆通，天天等，我们小区那片的快递员都是我们家的熟人，不仅认识了妈妈，也认识了我。

　　姥姥就不认可妈妈的购物观。因为这件事，她们经常吵架。

　　“你就是败家，什么都买，你看看，家里的没用的东西都是你买的，你说说，外面有个搂钱耙，家里得有个装钱匣啊，你天天这样花，多少钱够花，为了孩子你存过多少钱……”

　　“你就是老观念，现在都是信息时代了，哪有你那么多的老观念，要学会享受，要学会提前消费……”她们的争吵总是爸爸这个和事佬来化解。

　　今天姥姥和妈妈又吵了起来，起因是妈妈说漏了嘴：“她买了一个锅，花了5000”。话音刚落。姥姥就大吵：“再不在我家住了，气也得气死，这么败家，挣多少够花啊”姥姥说完，收拾起来东西，到舅舅家去住了。

　　我也知道姥姥是爱妈妈的，我更知道妈妈也是爱姥姥的，但是，消费观念的不同，使我们家争吵不断。这可能就是代沟的代价。

　　Though many aspects of our social life havebeen improved,the generation gap between theyouths and the olders remain and even grows wider.

　　In my opinion, because of the influence ofindividualism from western civilization,the youthsdo not blindly follow what the elders say,that causesthe gap.The young arecreative and revolutionary,always go along with the trend and likechanging.While the old, accustomed to everything of the past,are hostile to change.Alsowith more and more different beliefs and philosophical ideas,it is natural the young holddifferent opinions from the old.

　　I think in order to narrow the gap,both parts should try to understand and respect eachother,instead of trying to change others as they wish.Diversity doesn't mean conflict so longas they hold the right attitude towards the problems.
