Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is “I love you, China.”

But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness and compassion. It’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It’s about what you say and what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. And we should always remember to be ourselves. Other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life. Most of all, it’s about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers; we buy more but enjoy them less. We’ve learnt how to make a living but not a life, we’ve added years to life, but not life to years. And it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.
And these choices are what life is about.

When having to make a choice most people think they have to choose between the two. Far too often people go for the latter and naturally choose fun. For instance many people would prefer watching television, or more commonly known as TV to exercising, we all know that it’s true, right? The problem is, if you don’t exercise you will become weak and ultimately out of shape and it is no fun to be out of shape, right? So the question is, why not turn exercise into fun?
As an example, if TV is your favorite thing to do, why not connect your TV set to an electric generator that is charged by a stationary bike, you know, the kind of bike you peddle, that doesn’t go anywhere. So think about it, the more you watch TV, the fitter you’ll be.
Now if you are the kind of person who thinks listening to music is fun and you spend many hours alone tap tap tapping your fingers and your toes to the beat, why not take it one step further and get up on your feet and dance, dance, dance.
Or maybe you’re the type of person who prefers being with your friends. There are many ways one could have fun with their pals. For instance you could just hang out and do nothing or better yet you could get into a friendly game of basketball or football there is no rule that says everyone has to be as good as Yao Ming or David Beckham, right?
However sometimes there just aren’t enough players, or you may even be alone in which case you could go for a ride on your bike, maybe, stop by the library to borrow a book, or go for a walk around the park and enjoy the sunshine and scenery. Before you know it, you’re having fun.
Let’s face it, exercise is work and when we think of work we think of thankless underpaid hardships yet it needn’t be this way, if we think of exercise as fun.

At first, you must understand the meaning of climate change. It means any long-term significant change in the average weather, which may include average temperature, precipitation, wind patterns and so on. For example, Australia is experiencing rapid climate change. Since the middle of the twentieth century, Australian temperatures have risen by about average one temperature degree with an increase in the frequency of heat waves and a decrease in the numbers of frosts and cold days. Rainfall patterns have also changed, which means that the northwest has seen an increase in rainfall over the last fifty years while much of eastern Australia and the far southwest have experienced a decline. From this example, it indicates climate change that is occurring today has sped up, and affects long-term weather. The Earth’s climate is largely affected by how much heat is stored in the atmosphere. Furthermore, the climate change is caused by dynamic process on Earth, external forces including variations in sunlight intensity, and more recently by human activities.
The most important reason of climate change is caused by humans, because humans produce a lot of carbon dioxide into the air. This carbon dioxide emits from fossil fuel, aerosols, cement manufacture, land use, animal agriculture and deforestation. For example, trees can take in carbon dioxide to produce oxygen by photosynthesis. If people cut many trees for making furniture, paper, or sell wood to make money, there is much more carbon dioxide in the air. Beginning with the industrial revolution in the nineteenth century and accelerating ever since, the human consumption of fossil fuels has raised carbon dioxide levels rapidly. It means that carbon dioxide levels are substantially higher now than before. On the other hand, during the procedure of manufacturing cement, which is used in buildings, significantly more carbon dioxide is produced. While people improve their living standard, they cause climate change. When people burn coal, oil, and gas for our electricity, carbon dioxide is produced. When people burn fossil fuel to move vehicles, carbon dioxide is also produced. These sorts of examples indicate that humans are the real culprit. They do not consider the consequence, while they enjoy producing every thing they want.
It is not just man-made pollution of the atmosphere which can cause climate change. Changes in the amount of carbon dioxide in the air have occurred naturally during the history of the Earth, leading to climate changes. When a volcano erupts, it releases huge amounts of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere. However, volcano eruptions cannot effect climate change. The main reason is that before the volcano erupts, it would release huge amount of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide for a very long time. This pollution injected into the air blocks out a lot of sunlight. Therefore, it can cause the Earth to cool over fewer years. For example, in April 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatoba, where is in the Philippine islands, emitted huge amounts of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide into the air. The movement of the Earth’s axis also affects climate change; it moves a little more than a half-degree each century. Other processes can change the Earth’s climate over millions of years. When not only continents move around the world, but also mountains ranges are built, the changing patterns of landmasses affect the way the heat in the atmosphere and in the oceans is stored. In addition, changes in the way ocean water circulates around the world can affect the climate, because the oceans store even more heat than the atmosphere. Once ocean currents change direction, slow down, or reverse, it has a significant impact on climate.
Climate change is mainly caused by carbon dioxide. This can be separated to two important parts:natural causes, and human causes. After we realise what the two important factors of climate change are, and what the climate change is, we could try to think of a more effective solution to solve the climate change problem to make a higher quality environment.

回顾自己15年来在英语教学中的点点滴滴,感觉并没有什么绝对行之有效的“教学经验”,有的只是自己尽职尽责的工作态度,严格而灵活的教学方法。总之一句话,在英语教学中要想取得好成绩,就是“种瓜得瓜,种豆得豆”,成绩和平时心血的付出是成正比的。英语教学工作包含的内容太广泛,以下是自己在英语教学实践中的一些做法和感悟,有不当之处,请各位多批评指正。
1、建立良好的师生关系,做一名学生喜欢的英语老师
英语教学中,我感受最深的是,学生在成长过程中,需要知识,更需要关爱,关爱是一份情感,也是一份责任,作为英语老师,除了要有精湛的业务水平、敬业的精神、全面的知识,更重要的是在传道授业解惑时,做到爱生如子。人与人之间的感情是相互的,学生虽小,但他们都有着一颗敏感而真诚的心,只要你真心关爱他们,他们一定会有令你惊喜的回报。“亲其师而信其道”,只有让学生喜欢你,他们才会信任你,向着你引导的方向发展。
在多年的英语教学中,我学会激励自卑的学生,点拨后进的学生,暗示自负的学生,发现特殊的学生,服务每一个学生,关爱所有的学生,用心去与学生交流,用爱去抚慰心灵,构建师生平等,关系和谐,共同进步的求知家园。
2、狠抓英语课堂教学,构建“和谐高效、思维对话”型英语课堂
现在正处于应试教育向素质教育转轨时期,既要求减轻负担,又要求提高教育质量,这就要求我必须在英语课堂上下功夫,提高英语课堂教学效率,我通常注重以下几个方面:
1、认真备课
大家都知道,备好课是上好课的前提,备课包括三方面,备教材、备学生、备教法。备教材。我总是提前翻阅各种材料、教师用书、学习资料及以往的相应试题,对于哪些是重点难点,哪些知识点扩展到什么程度,会以什么形式出题,做到心中有数。备学生,就是要了解学生的'年龄特点、接受能力、知识储备情况,这样可以避免起点太高,学生听不懂,或起点太低,学生感到无聊的情况。备教法。每一级每个班学生特点各不相同,所以我非常注重仔细研究学生,采取适合学生的方法导入新课,用学生易于掌握的方法讲解新知,用学生感兴趣的方法组织课堂活动。
2、用激情带动学生,焕发英语课堂活力
我要求自己在备好课的基础上,每节英语课都满怀热情地走进教室,哪怕身体不适、满心烦恼,在站上讲台,面向学生的那一刻,我都会面带笑容,精神抖擞,讲课时也是充满激情,抑扬顿挫。因为快乐的情绪可以传染,如果你把快乐的情绪、积极地心态传染给学生,他的英语学习效率可能会成倍增长。
3、关注每个学生,提高课堂凝聚力
讲课时,我的视线遍布每个角落,始终用眼光爱抚每个学生,学生的每个动作和眼神都逃不过我的眼睛,并且与学生进行眼神的交流,久而久之,每个学生都会感到老师一直在关注我,从而使他们集中注意力,认真听讲。
4、精讲多练,提高英语课堂效率
初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果英语老师是“一张嘴,一支笔,从上课讲到下课。”的教学模式,就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠,学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位,少讲多练。少讲并不意味着粗略讲解,一带而过。初中生的接受能力还是有限的,对于重难点的知识,我会根据学生特点细致的讲解,多举例,多操练,讲一点,练一点,讲练结合,让大多数学生都能跟上,参与活动。讲得太粗太快,学生跟不上,学不会,久而久之,就会慢慢失去学习兴趣。俗话说“庄稼齐了才打粮”,只照顾尖子生,不符合素质教育的理念。一定要面向全体学生,才会取得良好的英语教学效果

一、师生关系
良好的师生关系是保证完成教学任务的重要条件,要做一名学生喜欢的英语老师。学生亲其师,方能信其道,乐其道,才能积极的接受教师传授的知识,提高研究兴趣。每个老师都是为了学生好,可是有时学生真的是不领情,那么为什么学生就不明白我们的良苦用心呢?所以建立良好的师生关系显得尤为重要,要想方设法让学生对老师佩服,信服,并且乐于和你交流,愿意听你的话。这就要求我们在各个方面都要加以注意,比如:知识丰富全面,教学敬业,关爱关注学生,风趣幽默,了解孩子的心理,懂得他们的爱好兴趣,尊重信任学生。
二、热情
教师要有饱满的热情,满怀激情地走进教室,要感染学生,激发学生的情感,使课堂气氛活跃,目标一致,焕发英语课堂活力,以达到事半功倍的效果。
想象学生从早到晚,坐在教室里,一节课接着一节课,很容易产生视觉疲劳,听觉疲劳。如果老师总是板着面孔,传授知识,那很难激发学生的研究兴趣。因此,在教学中教师要注意情感的释放,教师走进课堂就应该象演员走进摄影棚,立刻进入角色,动作神态逼真传神,富于激情,用自己的教学热情去激发起学生的相应情感体验,以富有表现力的面部表情,恰当自然的形态动作给学生深刻的感染,加速激活认知能力。
三、课堂气氛
我以为好的课堂教学应当是严厉与宽松相结合的。假如一节课一严到底学生会感到很压抑,久而久之便会对你的课堂失去兴趣,从而对这一科失去研究的`信心,甚至还会产生抵触的心理,那就根本谈不上研究效果。可以通过小幽默,小笑话,小比赛,小表演来活跃课堂气氛,让学生愈加自然、轻松、舒畅的研究常识。
四、精讲多练
初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果英语老师是“一张嘴,一支笔,从上课讲到下课。”的教学模式,就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠,学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位,少讲多练。一节英语课千万不可贪多,讲许多知识点。一节新课可适当降低难度,知识点可精讲精炼。整节课就几个重点反复操练,多读,多用,以达到学生课下能正确运用的目标。比如我会经常实行“一分钟背书”,四五句话看谁一分钟能够背完。“一口气英语”,一个长的句子或两个句子,一口气说下来,中间不准换气,看谁说的最快,最溜。在不知不觉中,很多的重点句型当堂就掌握背熟了。现在我上课只要一说“一口气英语”,学生就会马上兴奋的进入战斗状态。
五、兴趣
对于学生的研究兴趣,我们要特别注意培养和保护,注意教学的活泼性和趣味性,使课堂教学生充满激情和乐趣。而学校白板设施的装置给我们提供了绝好的平台,使我们的课堂得到了无限的扩展,产生了无限的可能,使得从前比力贫乏的教学手腕丰满立体起来。比如英语歌曲,西方民俗,社会现象,热点新闻,小游戏,有趣的小视频等等,都可以充实到我们的课堂中来。比如,对于某些没有研究自傲的学生,我曾经播放过一个网络传播很广的小视频,《死亡爬行》,让他们相信自己,勇于拼搏,同时也学学英语中,鼓励的话都怎样说。母亲节时,我给她们播放了一个英语高手模仿各国母亲说英语,同时号召他们回家实行3H打算,三个H代表一个拥抱(hug),一句谢谢(thankyou),帮妈妈做一件事(help)。本学期开学之初,我给学生们引见了暑假里流行的冰桶挑战,看XXX,XXX,XXX是如何挑战冰桶的。研究动物称号时,我给他们播放去年的网络英语,狐狸叫,让他们听英语中动物是怎样叫的。工夫一久,这些兴趣就会转化为强大内部研究动机。
六、暗示
当向上的信念指引某人的行动时,他所向往的所有高度都有可能到达。那我们有无给自己的学生足够的暗示呢?
英语材的特点,决定了学生在研究过程中只有大胆的进行语言实践,才能真正掌握知识。而我们的学生普遍感到英语研究吃力,慢慢地产生了厌倦畏惧的心理,从而丧失了研究英语的信心。为了摆脱这种状况,我在教学随时利用一切机会,因势利导,以表扬为主,鼓励为辅,暗示他们每一个人都可以把英语学好。比如讲句子结构时,我就会说,英国人特笨,中国人特聪明,为什么?你看,他们把句子最重要的主语“人”放最前边,谓语动词做了什么挨着主语放,其它不重要的时间啊地点啊方式啊原因啊全扔在后边,所以他们说话是这样的,什么人做了什么事怎么样的什么地点什么时间。中国人多聪明啊,重要的放后边,时间啊地点什么的搁前边。我们是这样说的,什么时间什么地点某人做了什么,外国人一辈子都搞不懂。还有,中国人经常会说:“是的,我没有。”但英国人一听就懵了,是的怎么还没呢?他们只能理解“是的,我有”。学生一听,还真是的,这么难的中文我都会了,英语比起汉语真是太简单了。

初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果英语老师是“一张嘴,一支笔,从上课讲到下课。”的教学模式,就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠,学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位,少讲多练。一节英语课千万不可贪多,讲许多知识点。一节新课可适当降低难度,知识点可精讲精炼。整节课就几个重点反复操练,多读,多用,以达到学生课下能正确运用的目标。比如我会经常实行“一分钟背书”,四五句话看谁一分钟能够背完。“一口气英语”,一个长的句子或两个句子,一口气说下来,中间不准换气,看谁说的最快,最溜。在不知不觉中,很多的重点句型当堂就掌握背熟了。现在我上课只要一说“一口气英语”,学生就会马上兴奋的进入战斗状态。
五 兴趣
对于学生的学习兴趣,我们要特别注意培养和保护,注意教学的生动性和趣味性,使课堂教学生充满激情和乐趣。而学校白板设施的安装给我们提供了绝好的平台,使我们的课堂得到了无限的扩展,产生了无限的可能,使得以前比较贫乏的教学手段丰满立体起来。比如英语歌曲,西方民俗,社会现象,热点新闻,小游戏,有趣的小视频等等,都可以充实到我们的课堂中来。比如,对于某些没有学习自信的学生,我曾经播放过一个网络传播很广的小视频,《死亡爬行》,让他们相信自己,勇于拼搏,同时也学学英语中,鼓励的`话都怎么说。母亲节时,我给她们播放了一个英语高手模仿各国母亲说英语,同时号召他们回家实行3H计划,三个H代表一个拥抱(hug),一句谢谢(thank you),帮妈妈做一件事(help)。本学期开学之初,我给学生们介绍了暑假里流行的冰桶挑战,看比尔盖茨,奥尼尔,范·迪塞尔是如何挑战冰桶的。学习动物名称时,我给他们播放去年的网络英语神曲,狐狸叫,让他们听英语中动物是怎么叫的。时间一久,这些兴趣就会转化为强大内部学习动机。
六 暗示
当向上的信念指引某人 的行动时,他所向往的所有高度都有可能抵达。那我们有没有给自己的学生足够的暗示呢?
英语新教材的特点,决定了学生在学习过程中只有大胆的进行语言实践,才能真正掌握知识。而我们的学生普遍感到英语学习吃力,慢慢地产生了厌倦畏惧的心理,从而丧失了学习英语的信心。为了摆脱这种状况,我在教学随时利用一切机会,因势利导,以表扬为主,鼓励为辅,暗示他们每一个人都可以把英语学好。比如讲句子结构时,我就会说,英国人特笨,中国人特聪明,为什么?你看,他们把句子最重要的主语“人”放最前边,谓语动词做了什么挨着主语放,其它不重要的时间啊地点啊方式啊原因啊全扔在后边,所以他们说话是这样的,什么人做了什么事怎么样的什么地点什么时间。中国人多聪明啊,重要的放后边,时间啊地点什么的搁前边。我们是这样说的,什么时间什么地点某人做了什么,外国人一辈子都搞不懂。还有,中国人经常会说:“是的,我没有。”但英国人一听就懵了,是的怎么还没呢?他们只能理解“是的,我有”。学生一听,还真是的,这么难的中文我都会了,英语比起汉语真是太简单了。
七 课后
课后任务,如作业,背书,听写,要及时跟进,这三个任务互相补充,相辅相成。任务完成好的要适当有所奖励,比如背书或者听写过关的学生,我会给他们盖各种各种各样的小印章,而集够一定数量后可找我兑换一张免作业卡,上边还有我自制的防伪印章。
总之一句话,各种方法手段,都是为了让我们的学生有兴趣,想学习,爱学习,会学习。一份耕耘,一份收获,我相信,只要我们努力了,并且坚持下去,就一定能够做到最好。

i hope my ideal school starts at 8.30 a.m. because l like to get up late. i hope my ideal school finishes at 4.30 p.m. so l can have lots of time to have a rest and do some after-school activities.
my ideal school is very large, it has three tall buildings , a big dining hall, a tennis court, a big playground and a park.
we have an hour for lunch, we can eat delicious food and chat with each other in the big dining hall. we can also listen to pop music here.
we have math lesson everyday because l like math very much. i also like english, so we have english everyday. we needn’t wear school uniform. the classes are quite small, there are about 15 students in each class.
we have activities after school once a week. at the weekend, we needn’t do much homework. everymonth, we go on a school trip to shanghai orsuzhou.

can money buy happiness? different people have different opinions. some think yes, while others hold the opposite.
it is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. however, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. it is a common view that "money is the root of all evil." the pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. in some places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody is miserable.
so, money does not necessarily mean happiness. it all depends on how it is used. if we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.
