Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Greeting and Lead-in

The teacher lets the students listen to a song named Westlife and introduces the word BAND.

T: Nowadays, there are many programs coming out, such as The Voice of China, Happy boys, Super girls. Do you like them?

Ss:

T: Today, we will have a game named I AM A SINGER. Next we have to finish four tasks and if you finish one I will give you one card. In the end you get I AM A SINGER, you will get a prize.

Ss:

Step 2 Presentation

Listen to different kinds of music and describe their feelings.

Questions: what kind of music?

Why do you listen to it?

How does it make you feel?

Step 3 Listening

Before the listening, the teacher lets the students make a prediction.

Questions: How many people in the conversation?

What is the conversation about?

What should you pay attention to？

Then aske students to check their answers.

Step 4 Pair work

Music is beautiful and sweet, which can soften people’s heart. So it is time for us to help people in low spirits.

教学反思：

本节课形式较之前新颖，教学任务完成。但歌曲放得有点多，时间安排有点不均。

这节课主要是听力加一个Pairwork，但由于听力文段中有较多生单词，并且细节方面需要听清楚对话中两个男生各自的观点，对现在的学生来说难度有点大。所以结构安排上我把1D的对话挪到最前面，让学生先知道谈论音乐，再来听听力。同时针对现在的初中生习惯不看题目，直接听听力，所以我让学生先预测下文章的主要内容，并且对于有些答案能靠猜测填的可以先填。

在情感教育我选了几个代表人物，他们的情绪低落，以学生的角度去推荐他听哪种类型的歌曲然后高兴起来，相当于把整节课的内容做个简单的总结。

本节课方面主要有以下不足：板书方面用了红色粉笔，学生会有点看不清楚。

在本节课开始时有一个游戏集单词，可最后没有及时点评总结。

俗话说，教学有法，但教无定法，我们在教育的过程中还是需要根据学生实际，开动脑筋，激发学生的主动性。
