8B Unit 3 Reading(I)教案
教 案 教学目标 1 通过阅读文章,获取有关教育类游戏光盘的信息。 2 能根据关键词、图片、上下文和现有的知识猜测文章大意。 3 通过完成一段对话来掌握具体细节。 4 通过文章学习,调动学生对使用教育光盘或软件的兴趣,进而提升学习英语的兴趣。 教学内容 四会内容 词汇:educational CD-ROM traveller asleep point correctly role level knowledge grammar reach screen pass mark purple 三会内容 词汇:designer vocabulary 教学过程 Step 1导入新课 Arouse students’ interest by telling them that they are going to read about a new educational CD-ROM. Explain that the game is set in different countries and involves a tour around the world. Step 2交流展示 1 Part B: Check the answers in groups. Then ask the students to read in pairs. 2 Task 2: Ask and answer the questions in pairs. 3 Part C1: Divide the class into pairs and set a time limit of five minutes. Ask the students to correct the false statements. Check the answers as a class. 4 Task 4: First, write the answers of the table on the blackboard. Then ask and answer the questions in pairs. 5 Part C2: Invite some pairs to read the conversation to the class. Ask the rest of the class to check their answers. 6 Task 6: Write the answers on the blackboard. 【设计意图】以小组交流展示与全班交流展示相结合的方式,促使学生积极思维,主动参与课堂活动,互帮、互助、互学,共享学习成果。 Step 3互动探究 Work in groups: Selling the new CD-ROM If you are a CD-ROM seller, you want to sell a new CD-ROM. Please introduce your CD-ROM to your customer(顾客), including its name, its function and how to use it. e.g. This is…. It can help you…. 【设计意图】给学生创设交流与合作的机会,既锻炼口语交际能力,又培养探究意识,促进学生能力发展,同时让他们体验到合作学习的快乐。 Step 4精讲点拨 1 Part B Encourage the students to find the words in the reading passage and match with the correct definitions. Tell the students: fall asleep=be asleep (fall asleep为短暂性短语,be asleep为延续性短语,可以互相转化,此为一个难点) 【方法与突破】My father fell asleep half an hour ago. (改为同义句) -- My father has been asleep for half an hour. 2 Reading Read the article for several times. By reading, complete some related tasks. Give the students enough time to communicate with each other and enough chance to express themselves. During the course of reading, teach them some useful reading methods and skills.(本部分为教学重点) 【方法与突破】设计一些相关练习,通过阅读,获取有用信息,完成相关练习,再通过完成一段对话加深对文章的理解。在此过程中,教授学生一些阅读方法与技巧,为今后的阅读作好铺垫。 3 Part C2 Explain the context: Millie wants to know about ‘Around the World in Eight Hours’. She is asking Daniel a lot of questions. After completing their conversation, ask two or three pairs to read it. 【设计意图】精讲教学内容,突出重点,突破难点,点拨阅读方法与技巧,引导学生逐步达成学习目标。 教学反思 本节课主要是通过阅读的方式了解一种教育类游戏光盘,由于话题是有关电脑游戏的,又贴近学生的生活实际,因而他们对阅读文章产生了浓厚的兴趣。通过完成一段对话掌握了文章的具体细节。然而,在教学过程中,并不是所有的学生都能从阅读中获取正确信息,完成相关任务,在今后的教学中还需进一步加强训练。【8B Unit 3 ReadingI教案】相关文章:
