Dear Miss Brown:
I am writing to express my sincere thanks to you for caring me in the last two years. During the days of being your student, I learn a lot. Firstly, your serious attitude towards teaching and our students moves me too much. You inspire and push me to work harder and harder. Secondly, I fall in love with English under the influence of you. As a student of science and engineering, I’ve been thinking that English does no good to me, but you help me to find the fabulous glamour of English that leads me to know a totally different world and develop a different way of thinking. Finally, your continuous encouragement supports me a lot when I meet challenges or difficulties. You said that everything to the last will certainly bee a good thing, if it is not, not yet to the last. Every time, remembering your words, I am so inspired to keep going.
Above all, I want to say thank you again and please accept my sincere appreciation. Best wishes for you.

Dear Kate:
I’m missing you very much. I’m glad to introduce my school life to you.
My school is so beautiful that I fall in love with it .In class, my teachers teach us much knowledge which I can’t learn from my texts or parents. The teachers and classmates here are very kind and friendly to me. So we get along well with one another. Besides, I have adjusted myself to the new surroundings quickly with their help.
In addition, we can do morning exercise in the morning and take part in sports and other outdoor activities frequently, which are very helpful to build up our body and enrich our school life.(They can keep us healthy and open our mind/broaden our horizon)
I’m sure that with my efforts, I’ll live/lead/enjoy a colorful and fruitful life here.
Happy National Day to You!
Yours,
Li Hua
DearAmy:
How are you? I guess it’spretty tiring to correct all that homework, I wonder if there areany shortcuts?
As a new teacher for ourclass, I think maybe you would like to know a few things about ourclass.
Um…… firstly, maybe you would like a real goodassistant. I recommend agirl, her English name is Amy too, Amy Lin. She’s really good atprocessing details, and, yes, carrying stuff (but not too much). She does everything really fast, and can leave enough timeleft.
Secondly, you might need a student-tutor, astudent that teaches other students. Well, I think a student whichhas “maths-craze” called Eric well be fit for the job. Hecan get good English grades as well, also, he loves helping otherswith their studies. He wears black and blue rimmed glasses all daylong, and maybe you know him. Many boys treat him as a boss, andare willing to listen to him.
Thirdly, perhaps you’re alsolooking for a student which can entertain the class and makeEnglish classes more interesting (a class clown). Then I recommendLeo, he jokes all day long, has a great sense of humor and crazyimagination. But he isn’t a classic good student, so perhapssometimes you’ll get a bit annoyed.
It’sabout ten! Maybe I’ll have to leave the rest for nexttime.
Bestwishes!
Alyssa

Dear my teacher:
since I have been into senior high school, I had trouble in understanding the English listening materials, and felt it harder than that in junior high school. To try to find a solution, I began to get up early to memory the vocabulary, listen to English and do exercise. By the help of teachers and classmates, I finally made it! My grade is better than before and I know how to study English effectively. I really appreciate your help.

Dear Miss Zhu:
How time flies! It has been a few years since I left high school, but I still remember you in my heart, because you’re the best teacher in my mind. It’s not only because you taught me knowledge, but also you taught me how to study. I have really benefitted a lot from you. So I would like to express my great thanks to you, and share my life in college with you.
Now I’m studying in Hunan First Normal College, which is Chairman Mao’s former school. I major in English, because I find it so fun and interesting. As far as I’m concerned, our English Department is the best department in our college. The teachers in our department are knowledgeable, experienced, and warm-hearted. And my classmates are nice, friendly and helpful. Thus, I have a good atmosphere to study. When I have difficulties in study, I always ask my teachers for help or discuss with my classmates. Through their help, I have made great progress in my English study.
College life is much different from high school life. In college, we should acquire knowledge as well as improve our integrated abilities. There are a lot of English classes for us to learn, such as Basic English, Oral English, Listening, Reading, Writing, Translation, Grammar, English Literature, and so on. I enjoy these classes very much. Except English, we have many other subjects to learn. Life seems so busy here but it’s so fruitful for me.
After class, I usually go to the English Corner. There I can practice my oral English by talking with foreigners or chatting with my schoolmates. Now, I’m able to communicate with foreigners well. Sometimes I also take part in some social activities. For instance, last weekend I attended an interesting play. As it was my first performance, I felt a little nervous at the beginning. But when I appeared on the stage, I made every audience laugh happily. I was so proud of myself at that moment, because this was my first achievement.
What about your present life? I hope to hear from you soon.
At last, I hope everything goes well with you. Please give my best regards to your family.

Dear MS Hu:
Its my honor to get the chance to write to you. Nowadays, people seldom write letters, instead, they make a call or send a SMS. However, in some circumstance, writing letters is indispensable.
In the class, you know well how to keep the class active. Youve got such an open mind that you can keep leading us to talk about the topic during the whole class. I learned not only the listening and writing skills but also the presentation skills as well as the knowledge of the concerned areas.
In addition, It seems that although I have been studying English during the last many years, I can’t speaking English fluently and precisely like the local people. Would you like to give me some suggestions on how to pronounce English like local people?
Yours sincerely,
Xia Wenjie

Dear Ms Zhang:
I’m writing to express my sincere gratitude to you. You are the very person who gave me a hand when necessary.
One month ago, with the College Entrance Examination around the corner, I was nervous and in low spirits, being afraid of letting my parents down because of my average academic performance. When I was at a loss and on the point of giving up, as my headteacher, you asked me to go to your office. Instead of blaming me, you comforted me and discussed with me the reasons for my failing in the exam. More unforgettably, you managed to help me with my study and always inspired me from time to time. Gradually, I learned how to adjust to myself and stayed calm in the College Entrance Examination.
Ms Zhang, I’m more than grateful for what you have done for me, from which I’ve got to know it is never too late to get back when there is still hope. Wish you happiness and good health.
Sincerely yours,
Li Hua

Dear teacher:
500 days ago, I met probably one of the best English teachersthat I have ever met in my school life, whch I didnt realize it atfirst.
His name was call Sheng Jin Dou, as he told us through his theself-introduction on the first class of the Senior 3, yet, wegradually found that we would love to call the nickname: Dou Dou.Sounds smooth, isnt it ? However speaking of the first impressionon him, I had to say nothing impressive but an old guy close tohalf a hundred years old, no seeming talented, nearly a hundred percent having an African-American extraction. In fact, he was a youngboy half that age and moreover what he would bring to me in thefield of language learning must be beyond my imagination.
Just a couple of hours ago, I surprisedly heard about that hewas about to fly to Canada in the cause of the emmigration in fewdays, which finally proved to be true. My first thought wasembarrassed that I considered it as "the refugee exmmigration".Anyway, I pletely agreed on Dou Dous determination withrespect, because one can not be tied up with a continual job. Inorder to refresh and irradiate yourself, please just broken thefetters and shackles and seize the occasion. I utterly understrandit and what I want to say to Dou Dou is as followed in memory of2010-2011.
It is undoubtfully my priviledge to enjoy such wonderful timewith your class. Although someone may murmur textpaper and examswere the main portion of our daily agenda in Senior 3, I stillreckon that it was pleted by Dou Dou on the other side that therelationship between teacher and students was not naturallyignored, but spontaneously got closer and closer. In this way, youare our intimate friend more than a joint English teacher.
Those funny stories and hilarious jokes you ever told us notonly made the course of learning English live and vivid in class, but also aroused our interests and curiosities in exploring more inthe aspect of western history and culture after class. Additionallyyou were exactly the person with great passion and efforts who ledus to the golden gate of the sanctuary of the English and makethose profound knowledge available to us. Therefore you deservedthe best appreciation.
Those highs and lows we have experienced would be a rejoyableand unforgettable memory that emotionally inspire us in the rest ofour lifetime and eventually bee an invaluable treasure.Sometimes you reproached for what we had done was not satisfiedenough though, while you were in frenzy at times cause we reallyhad done something --- We Beat Class 8 This Time YEAH!!!! I have toadmit that it was absof uckinglutely kick-ass.
I dont know the precise meaning of the word "mentor". In myperspective, the word "mentor" shall be a one of a kindinteraction, depicting the subtle bend with teacher and studentswhich is muturally beneficial. One thing at this level is for surethat Dou Dou is our joint mentor in a responsible, hardworking andthoughtful way, so that we are all truly grateful to your devotionand sacrifice.
Tomorrow is towards while the departure shall e. I perceiveit as an outset not an end, so there is nothing we can manifest ournegative emotions. After all, we are all on the road. Yourinspirational words we will keep in minds like characters carved onthe unpolished stones. And your convival attitude to us we feelconvalescent and considerate. As for me, Zhou Jing Rou and Mao Fengare always your kedaibiao(我真不知道这词的英文是啥......), Zhu Yue is always yourmanager and I am always the boy who didnt finish the homework. Weare your honest gentle boys, naughty lovely girls and Class 10Senior 3 will be there to wele you back, always and forever. Iknow there is so much we meant to say to Dou Dou, however, all ourgratitude and happiness will be shortened into 3 words:
We Love You All

Hi, Janet:
I am xx, Jackys mother. I do appreciated very much that youtalk to us about our kid today, thanks very much for your caringfor him with so much love.
Our families have been here since March 15,2014, its the firsttime for us to e to the US, and with different language andculture, its quite challenge to us three. While its very luckyfor us to meet with the Faith preschool and we believe in you allvery much.
Before Jacky went to the Faith preschool, I worried about him verymuch. However, during the past 4 days, we are surprised to see thathe is willing to go there every morning; and he seems very happyevery afternoon. It surprised us very much.We think, eh, he likesthe preschool. Thanks for what you have done.
When we were in China, Jacky went to a preschool with the spirit ofMontessori and Waldorf since 3 years old. All teachers in hispreschool are full of love, they treat child with love&respect, but with some necessary rules. He learned the meaning ofwaiting, to be friendly with others and care for other kids who areyounger than him.
Jacky is a child who can concentrated on what he wants to do, whileif you ask him to do some other things at that time, he will not bewilling to. Also he doesnt like to be obliged to do what hedoesnt want to. He is a slow type of child so that he will needmore time to participate in collective activities with otherchildren. He will observe the environment for a long time and thenmake decisions.
Jackys father is a gentle man and is tender to Jacky. In ourfamily, we love him very much and always give him hugs andencouragements. And we have never thought that he could kick theteacher in preschool, for he is a peaceful boy in his mind. Jackysfather and I talk about the issue and we think that the most reasonfor him is the language gap and the new environment. Maybesometimes he does not want to participate in the collectiveactivities while the teacher requires him to do so. He dont knowhow to municate with teacher and the environment is all new tohim. In brief, he has not built the reliable relationship with histeacher. Please give him more time, as you described for us, he ismaking progress day by day, and its only 4 days passed.
From our observation, sometimes he does grab toys from otherchildren, but not always. Sometimes he will waiting or ask. We willteach him to say "please" and "May I...", we wish that he couldmake much progress in this aspect with the help from both theteacher and us.
Thank you again and if there is any problem, please let us know atfirst time. We do appreciate for your munication.
Wish you a happy weekend!
Joanne

Dear Mr Guan:
How time flies. In the blink of an eye,the semester has been on for almost three months ,and you also teach our English for almost three months.Maybe you can’t call my name ,but you have a deep impression on me.
Its my honour to get the chance to write to you. "Approachable and amiable " is my first impression to you, because you always keeps smiling. You always arrive at the classroom early, from which we could imply that you are a diligent man with regular habit. In general, when we are professional courses, the atmosphere of the class have a
little bit nervous, boring. But in your class,we feel very relaxed. And if we knew the answers to the questions,we can enthusiastically answer, without worrying about making mistakes. When learning a new unit, you will let us to prepare for a ppt or a direct speaking which we can express our own ideas and interact with other students more frequently. At first,we feel embarrassed ang don’t have enough courage. But under the teachers encouragement step by step,we make enough preparations to have positive statements.
I remember that you have said one thing that a lovelorn senior in department of history talked with you and you encouraged him to be a doctor for further education.I don’t know wether the senior will be a doctor or not,but I must study hard and deep to be a doctor. I was always worrying about that my boyfriend will break up with me before.Through this,I know that as long as you ability is strong, there is no necessary to worry about it. We appreciate you for not only improving the ability of our English ,but also teaching us some truths with your personal experience. Nous vous remercions enseignants.
Lifes a journey, you shine our light of hope, enrich our minds, adding to our intelligence. At last, I hope everything goes well with you. Please give my best regards to your family.
Sincerely yours,
xxx
