There are four seasons in a year. But I like summer best. Summer comes after spring. The day is long and the night is short. It often rains, sometimes quite heavily. In summer, there are less people in the street than other seasons. People don’t like to go out during summer because it’s so hot. They don’t feel comfortable.
Swimming is my favourite activity in summer. The swimming pool is often filled with people. Sometimes my parents take me to the beach. We play and run. We feel nice and cool. We play volleyball on the beach. We lie in the sun. We still enjoy the wind blowing softly. When we have a rest, we usually eat ice cream and drink nice juice.
Summer is hot and funny! Welcome, summer!
