No matter how far away your friend is, you can always contact him with h telephone. There ~ re many kinds of telephones now.  What's more, telephones are very cheap, so almost every family has a telephone. Beside making telephone call, telephones have many new uses,  such as asking for information, listening to the music.  The telephone plays an important role in our daily life.
