I’m writing to request a valuable chance to be one of the host families of the British students.
Compared with others, I think my family has the following advantages. Firstly, we have a spacious and tidy house with a pleasant surroundings. Secondly, there will be no barriers in communicating since I have a good command of English and both my parents are English professors. Thirdly, we just provided accomodation for two Australian students during the last Spring Festival, which gave us some experience. Furthermore, it is relatively more conveneint for my father to drive them to the major scenic spots nearby in our private car.
Taking the above mentioned factors into account, I think my family is the very one to be chosen.
